IncWell's partner seeks experts and/or technology to prevent the transfer of denim dye to leather seating fabric.
As drivers enter and exit a vehicle, there exists the potential for the transfer of denim dye from the driver's pant to the vinyl or leather seat beneath them. The staining is especially pronounced on lighter color seating fabrics. To combat this, seats are treated with a coating, however this coating is insufficient to prevent discoloration of the seat. Additionally, these coatings tend to lose effectiveness over time.
IncWell's partner seeks either a technology to improve the resistance of this dye transfer or expertise into the physical/chemical interations between the seating fabric and the denim. Ultimately, IncWell's partner desires to better understand the problem and, if possible, eliminate it.
