IncWell's partner seeks cutting-edge imaging technology for usage in automotive applications.



Modern automotive environments, coupled with consumer desires for improved performance and functionality, have led IncWell's partner to seek out the latest in imaging technologies.


Some proposed solutions, however, for the complex problem of good visibility in low light conditions require intensive post-processing to combine multiple images. The added processing time and cost are unacceptable for automotive applications.


IncWell's partner desires technologies capable of significantly improved low-light sensitivity and dynamic range at smaller pixel size.


Key Success Criteria
  • Low light performance must exceed the performance of current state-of-the-art imagers
    • Ideally, a better than 100% improvement is sought, however, other significant improvements are desired
  • SNR1 or SNR10 measurements demonstrating performance required for advancement
