Siemens Healthineers is looking for an illuminated front panel which brings the patient into a more relaxed, calm mood during a medical examination.

To get good pictures of the female breast it will be pressed in a way that feels uncomfortable.

So when it comes to treatments or when diagnostic images are made of very sensitive parts of the body it is important that the patients are relaxed during that time. Bringing them into a calm mood is the basis for a good X-ray with high quality pictures.

The actual mood light panel will be part of a medical system which should bring women into a good mood during an uncomfortable breast treatment.

  • Mounted to the stand of the unit in vertical position, selectable combinations, configurable (power input range 110VAc…240VAc) by software installed on work station
  • Should have an interface to TCPIP, USB, RS232 or similar from system work station
  • With an expected  lifetime of 10 years
  • Deviation of light intensity : max 3 cd/m²
  • Heat dissipation: 20W
