Philips Morris International (PMI) is constantly looking for solutions to further enhance its portfolio of potentially Reduced Risks Products* (RRPs). PMI’s products are designed to deliver a nicotine-containing aerosol, without combustion, while continuing to deliver smokers a satisfying experience. We apply rigorous scientific assessment to all our products to ensure it meet our objectives. We are continuously looking for aerosolization systems, components and features, irrespective of the stage of development, which can allow us to design the RRP portfolio of the future.
Reduced Risk Products (“RRPs”) is the term we use to refer to products that present, are likely to present, or have the potential to present less risk of harm to smokers who switch to these products versus continuing smoking. PMI has a range of RRPs in various stages of development, scientific assessment and commercialization. Our RRPs are smoke-free products that produce an aerosol that contains far lower quantities of harmful and potentially harmful constituents than found in cigarette smoke.
