Description

ICL Innovation seeks innovative technologies which will enhance the biocidal activity of brominated biocides with additional functionality that includes but is not limited to:  corrosion prevention, biofilm dispersion, scale prevention, and pH correction.

Background

ICL-IP Microbial Solutions produces a wide range of biocides based on chlorine and bromine.  These biocides provide solutions to water treatment needs for swimming pools and spas, cooling towers, pulp and paper facilities, and other industrial water treatment.  ICL-IP's biocides permit re-use of industrial water, improve the quality of industrial water discharge, and enhance safety of recreational water facilities.

ICL-IP supports its biocides with a network of offices and distributors that maintain local inventories and with extensive regulatory support to private labeling and sub-registration.  ICL-IP manufactures it biocides, using the world's most economical source of bromine, in facilities certified under ISO 9000-9002 quality standards and ISO 14001 environmental standards.

  • Synergism with brominated biocides
    • Chemical compatibility
    • Enhancement of biocidal peformance
  • Acceptable cost of use

Approaches not of interest

ICL Innovation is not interested in responses which offer approaches which are already commercialized and available on the market.

Preferred Collaboration types
  • Joint Development
  • Contract Research
  • Technology Licensing
  • To Be Negotiated
Items to be submitted

ICL Innovation welcomes responses from academic or research institutions or other organizations who are interested in developing innovative technologies and sharing intellectual property in licensing.  Approaches with demonstrated feasibility are preferred, but early stage approaches with sound scientific concepts are also welcome.  Technologies aligned with business interest will enjoy full funding until implemented on an industrial scale.

We are looking for concise non-confidential proposals and statements of expertise. To submit a proposal, please click the Respond button and complete your proposal.
